In collaboration with the Visual Team at Anthropologie, I concepted and created a hand-bound and -wrapped book sent to stores to inspire a snowy, white holiday season. I added detail with a number of types of paper and gocco-printed finishing touches.
I designed a Spring inspiration book for Anthropologie's Visual Team. This season, our concepts were particularly feminine and full of wabi-sabi influence and pops of bright color.
I created hundreds of postcards to inspire merchandizing and display teams in Anthropologie stores. The cards reflected apparel, home, and display concepts for a Fall season. They were evocative and playful with many small, thoughtful details.
Also for Anthropologie's Visual Team, I created posters to provide immersive apparel, home, and display inspiration for in-store teams. Our concepts this season featured a number of female personas. Each concept was layered, textural, and chock-full of collections.
I art directed this shoot for the Old Navy Summer Trend Magazine, working with a photo stylist and in-house photographer.
I created a suite of patterns for Dandelion Chocolate's bars. My patterns featured organic, repeated shapes. I drew inspiration from cacao pods, grass, stacked logs, and vintage textiles. Each pattern was screen printed on handmade paper in India.
I designed invitations for a metalsmith and jeweler in Portland, Allison Ullmer. I drew inspiration from her sketches, reimagining them as invitations to two holiday shows. I translated the lines and shapes of her ornate pieces into graphic imagery for letterpress and print.
In collaboration with Becky Wurwarg, I designed and installed chalkboard art for Dandelion Chocolate. I illustrated a dynamic space for tour signups and assisted Becky in her depiction of the bean-to-bar chocolate making process.
I created a number of large-format oil paintings at Brown University. This quilt-like painting measures 7.5 by 9 feet and features portraits of my mother and her sisters.
